Raymond H. Drymalski

Raymond H. Drymalski is a partner of Bell, Boyd & Lloyd LLP in the firm's Corporate Department. He concentrates his practice in corporate and business law with an emphasis on governance, business counseling and transactions.

Representative matters include:

Advising clients in all stages of growth and in a variety of industries, including technology, health care, life sciences, professional services, financial institutions, and not for profit organizations

Extensive experience in governance, tax, finance, commercial transactions, intellectual property and securities

Mr. Drymalski has devoted his efforts to civic involvement in Chicago's health care community. He served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, the parent of Northwestern Memorial Hospital and its affiliate corporations. A member of the Board since 1978, he serves as a member of the executive committee and executive compensation committee. He also was Chairman of the Board of Northwestern Memorial Hospital, an academic medical center affiliated with Northwestern University Medical School. Mr. Drymalski is a member of the Board of Directors of Northwestern Memorial Insurance Company and Northwestern Memorial Foundation. He was a member of the Board of Directors of McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University and of the Northwestern HealthCare Network.

He served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of The Lincoln Park Zoological Society and is a Life Member of that board. He is a member of The Economic Club of Chicago.

Prior to joining Bell, Boyd & Lloyd in 1987, Mr. Drymalski was Chairman of the Executive Committee of Boodell, Sears, Giambalvo & Crowley. Previously, he was an officer of The Northern Trust Company in the Family Business Division.

A graduate of Georgetown University, Mr. Drymalski received his J.D. from The University of Michigan Law School. He has contributed articles to the Illinois Bar Journal and the Chicago Bar Record.
